Privacy policy

Last updated October 13, 2026

The short version. Browsing this site collects nothing about you: no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no ads. If you apply to drive, Eclipse Operations keeps what you put in the form to review your application, and if you join the team, we share your results and evaluations with Crosslink Motorsports for scouting. We never sell your information. Email [email protected] to see, fix or delete it.

1. Who we are

Crosslink Sim Racing is the iRacing team of Crosslink Motorsports. Eclipse Operations runs the team and this website. Eclipse Operations is a division of Eclipse Racing LLC, a limited liability company in Indiana, United States ("we", "us"). Eclipse Racing LLC decides how application data is used and is responsible for it.

This policy covers crosslinksimracing.com. It does not cover Crosslink Motorsports' own website, iRacing, Discord, or any other service we link to; each has its own policy.

2. Browsing the site

You don't need an account and we don't ask you for anything. The site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels or third-party scripts. We serve every font, image and script from this domain, so a page view sends nothing to Google or anyone else.

Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host, Cloudflare receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request so it can deliver them, and keeps short-term logs for security. We add no logging of our own.

3. Driver applications

When you send the application form, we receive:

WhatWhy we use it
Name, email, Discord usernameTo reply to you and invite you to the team's Discord if you're accepted
iRacing customer ID, formula iRating, safety ratingTo check you meet the admission standard
Age range and countryTo check the minimum age, and to know whether we need a parent or guardian's consent
Your message (results, series, why Crosslink)To review your application
Your two confirmations, and when you sent the formAs a record that you agreed to the scouting and conduct terms

We store applications in a Supabase database (United States). Each new application also arrives as an email to [email protected], sent through Resend and kept in our Microsoft 365 mailbox. The database only accepts new applications from the website. Nobody can read them from the site, and only Eclipse Operations staff can see them.

4. If you join the team

The program exists to scout drivers for Crosslink Motorsports. If you join, Eclipse Operations shares your race results, telemetry and lap data, and a written evaluation (pace, consistency, racecraft, attitude) with Crosslink Motorsports four times a year. You agree to this when you apply. Crosslink Motorsports uses it to follow your progress and to run the test-day prize, and handles it under its own privacy practices.

We also show the roster, results and race photos on this site. If you want your name or photo taken down, email us and we'll remove it.

5. Who else sees your data

Each service provider processes data for us under its own security terms. We don't sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers or data brokers.

6. Drivers under 18

You must be at least 15 to apply. If you're 15, 16 or 17, a parent or guardian must consent before you join the team, and must attend the test day if you win it. A parent or guardian can ask us at any time to see or delete a minor's application.

7. How long we keep it

8. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email [email protected]. We reply within 30 days and don't charge.

If you apply from the UK or EU: we process your application because you asked us to consider it, and we share scouting data with Crosslink Motorsports because you agreed to it when you applied. Your data is stored in the United States. You can complain to your local data-protection authority (in the UK, the ICO).

We don't sell or "share" personal information as California law defines those terms.

9. Security

The site runs over HTTPS only. The application database accepts new rows from the website and refuses every read, so nobody browsing the site can see anyone's application. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your data, we'll tell you.

10. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll update the date at the top. Rostered drivers will hear about it in the team Discord.
